We work for you

Our Mission

To solve the problem of running out of money before you run out of life.

Our Vision

Madison Plans is an insurance brokerage based in Central Mississippi.

Designated “SSPS” (Social Security Plan Specialist)
Working with individuals seeking expert guidance to understand better the complicated and often confusing interaction of Social Security, Medicare, Long-Term Care insurance, Medicaid, and taxes.

Vision-First Partnership

We start with conversations, not products. Our process is rooted in a deep understanding of your personal goals and your specific vision for the future. Only once we share that vision do we provide the data and pathways to help you achieve it. We align your current circumstances with your future aspirations.

Insurance 101: Transferring Risk

At its core, insurance is a risk management tool designed to protect your family or business against financial ruin. It involves transferring the potential cost of a severe, uncertain loss to an insurance company in exchange for a premium. We ensure that your lifestyle remains protected, no matter what the future holds.

Solving for Longevity Risks

The risk of simply living longer than your money—the ultimate fear we work to eliminate.
In these modern times we face a unique set of challenges that traditional savings accounts, CDs, and standard planning tools often cannot solve. We provide expert guidance on three longevity risk:
  • Inflation: Protecting your purchasing power against the rising cost of living over decades.
  • Tax Volatility: Strategizing for a future of potentially higher tax environments.
  • Long-Term Care: Ensuring health and assistance needs don’t deplete your hard-earned legacy.

Making a Difference with Cresley Pierce

by Danny Rasberry

Cresley, what got you into the life, long-term care, and annuity industry?

I love the thought of making a positive difference in someone’s life. I was raised by two loving parents at the end of a dirt road in central Arkansas. Both of my parents were raised in homes where their fathers were ministers. Mom loved to pray and sing for others, and I saw the service she provided for our community. She was a homemaker who raised five of us kids—she was an angel. From an early age, I knew I wanted to serve others in a positive, caring way just like her.

Tell me more about your background.

I had the best life ever growing up! I loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing, and hiking. I would spend weeks at a time with my dad and brother in the woods. I even hiked the Appalachian Trail, and I plan to do it again.

My life took a big step in 1984 when I graduated from Seminary. I was a full-time minister until 2017. I had the privilege of traveling all over the country speaking and singing; connecting with people has always been my passion. I’m married to Vickie, and we have three wonderful and talented sons, one talented daughter-in-law, and a beautiful stepdaughter who is married to an amazing young man.

What took you to the insurance field?

Sometimes you know you can make a difference, and this is it for me. People make decisions every day about insurance, and I want to help them make informed ones. Sure, there is information on the internet, but everyone is different and every need is unique.

Any special moments that stand out in your career so far?

Even the smallest victories are thrilling to me. Just the last few months, I’ve several older gentleman who had always invested in CDs. They were amazed at how I could provide a significantly better rate with a multi-year guaranteed annuity, while providing tax deferral on his gains. So many people just don’t know these options exist—I love being able to show them.

Why do you concentrate so heavily on “safe money”?

Why wouldn’t I? Everyone should have a percentage of “safe money” in their portfolio. We are in the lowest tax bracket we’ve ever been in through modern history, yet we are $39 trillion in debt. We’ve had tremendous gains in the market over the past ten years, yet experts say the next ten could be much more volatile. It just makes common sense to protect what you have built.

When should a person consider late-life planning?

This is something I’m truly passionate about. The simple answer is: NOW. There is never a better time than right now. Home health and long-term care options are far more extensive today. We are talking about real options and real solutions.

It may be through life insurance, long-term care annuities, or fixed indexed annuities, but having a serious conversation now is critical. Most people can’t afford to gamble with their money or their health. Late-life planning helps address both challenges, often in a tax-favored manner. I encourage everyone to have a conversation with me, simply to understand what lies ahead and how we can determine the right path forward.

How do you market your services?

I host monthly seminars in Madison and the surrounding communities. I am always available to speak at any type of event about protection and money. But, most of all, I love face-to-face interaction with individuals and families who are seeking to learn more!

How do people find you?

Thank you for asking. You can reach out in a few ways:

The most important part is taking that first step. Our time together should benefit us both. You’ll have the opportunity to speak openly and get the information you need, and I’ll gain a clear understanding of your goals so we can build a plan tailored to you and your family.

We’re here for you

Let me answer your questions?

By using an agent to purchase insurance, the policyholder receives more personal service. An agent with whom there is direct contact can be vital when purchasing a product and absolutely necessary when filing a claim. A local, independent agent is able to deliver quality insurance with competitive pricing and local personalized service.
